The power of permission

Indestructible is different from other online events for many reasons, but maybe the strongest is its focus on helping you have better interactions with viewers through Permission-Based Calls-to-Action.

During each episode, Pastor Roy will be encouraging guests to respond to that meeting’s content. Those responses will help give you an idea of how and why to contact your guests.

These call to actions were designed to leave room for local church flexibility, however, some are specific. These specific offers are directly connected to what Roy is sharing during an episode, and all specific resources that Roy mentions are 100% free for you to build relationships with your guests. We have compiled a list of all specific offers as well as suggested offers that you can choose to use as you move into a deeper relationship with your guests.

Here is a list of FREE Specific Resources that will be offered to your guests during the series:

All of the specific resources that Roy will be inviting your guests to respond to are 100% free – you just need to be prepared to share them!

Session 1 Specific Calls to Action: “More information about Depression & Emotional Health”
  1. Roy’s first invitation is to those who may be experiencing depression and anxiety from loss. Faith For Today is recommending this free article that can be downloaded, printed or you can send the link directly to those who request this information.
  1. Emotional Health is area that everyone could benefit learning more about. Faith for Today is recommending a free article that gives more information and practical ways that your guests can start evaluating and changing how they view and respond to their life circumstances. This also paves the way to offer continued prayer during the series. You can access this free article here. This can be downloaded, printed, or you can send the link directly to those who request this information.
Session 2 Specific Call to Action: “Pray (with an Adventist)”

Roy will be targeting this specific language to encourage people to connect with an Adventist. Why? because we are the only Blue Zone social group in the world. Be prepared to offer prayer during this session (just like any other session) but this time your audience is specifically asking to pray with an Adventist and may be responding so they can learn more about managing their stress by connecting with their Creator through prayer.

Session 3 Specific Calls to Action: “Join a Walking Group & Digital Brochure”
  1. This is an easy way to connect with your community and engage your church members with this series. Walking is free, and the conversations that you will be able to have while walking will have a huge impact on developing relationships and discovering other areas of interest you can connect over.
  1. This is a FREE brochure that Roy will be offering guests during this session. You can find the free brochure here and download it ahead of time so you are prepared to share it with your guests. You may want to write a short a template email for your team so all they have to do is attach the file and send to get the ball rolling.
Session 4 Specific Call to Action: “Lifestyle Magazine’s Mad About Marriage blog”

In this session Roy will share other calls to action that your church can decide what resource to provide, but Roy will recommend guests sign up for a weekly email marriage tip if that is something that resonates with them. This is free, but not automatic. The offer will come through the InterestTracker system and your team will need to plug the guest’s information into this sign-up form to receive a weekly email marriage tip.

Session 5 Specific Call to Action: “See what the Ancient Text says about God’s character…”

This call to action is a natural next step for your guests who may be struggling with understanding who God really is. There is a free video series from Loma Linda’s “The Bible Lab” (Hosted by Roy!) so your guests can continue their spiritual journey with a friendly face they already know. There are also free downloadable study guides, making this a perfect small group option. Click here to preview the series and start planning your follow-up small group.

We’ve created a session-by-session suggested “connection timeline” and assembled a list of additional resources and creative ideas for building relationships with your viewers.

On the next page, you'll find those resources organized by topic and suggestions on when to offer the resource. All immediate calls to action have free specific or suggested resources. Additional resources for 1-2 weeks or 1-2 months can be purchased later once you’ve determined what the needs are in your community.

None of the additional suggested connections are required, you can choose to use all, some, or none – these are just available to you as you build relationships with your guests.
